The Zion Church of FxBG’s Blessing Bags program distributes grocery bags filled with nutritious meal items to families in need throughout Planning District 16. The initiative helps address food insecurity by providing carefully selected healthy food options to support local households. Recipients of Zion’s Blessing Bags need to complete an application. Spanish versions are available and the applications can be completed on a cell phone or paper. Planning District 16 consists of Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George and Caroline Counties. We are back on schedule for 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 5:30 PM .   If you need groceries outside of these days,  send a text to the point of contact, and we will do our best to coordinate providing you with two grocery bags.
