Appointment-required monthly pantry with pet food when available
The Jan Jirousek Food Pantry at Lutheran Social Services distributes groceries from the back of the Philips Highway building. Anyone may use the pantry up to once per month, but an appointment is required. Pet food may also be requested when available.
Accepts Food Donations: Priority foods include peanut butter, jelly, canned meat and vegetables, soup, pasta, rice, cereal, fruit, and other shelf-stable groceries. Food drives, volunteer service, and financial contributions are accepted; volunteer inquiries may be sent to volunteer@lssjax.org.
