Gainesville Community Ministry provides a two-day emergency food supply for each household member once every 28 days. Apply in person with photo identification, a Social Security card or printout, and proof of income. Its separate monthly USDA distribution is for Alachua County residents and requires photo identification; call for the next date and follow the organization’s current registration instructions.
Accepts Food Donations: Frozen, refrigerated, fresh, and shelf-stable foods, clothing, volunteer service, and financial contributions support GCM; contact the ministry to coordinate donations.
