Emergency groceries requiring current proof of housing and cooking access
DESC provides three-to-six days of emergency groceries, including produce, meat, beans, peanut butter, bread, and cereal. Recipients must show current proof of housing with food storage, refrigeration, and cooking access, such as a JEA account or bill, an active lease, or a rent receipt dated within 30 days. Identification for everyone in the household is helpful.
Accepts Food Donations: Product donations are accepted Monday–Friday before 2:00 PM. Current needs include clothing, shoes, hygiene items, bags, and work supplies; volunteer and financial support are also available.
