Household eligibility: Single adults. Intake: LAHSA-funded beds require referral through a community partner. DMH-funded beds require engagement with a Los Angeles County mental-health program and referral from that program.. Eligibility: Adult men experiencing homelessness; DMH-funded placements additionally require current participation in County mental-health services. Documents: Referral and program-specific assessment documents; confirm current requirements with the referring partner or CMC. Accessibility: The current DMH site sheet says mobility needs can be accommodated. Pets: Pets are not accepted according to the current DMH site sheet. Service animals: Emotional-support dogs and service animals accepted with documentation according to the current DMH site sheet. Published capacity: 65 total interim-housing beds published by the current operator. HUD’s January 2024 inventory separately counted 50 LAHSA CES bridge beds and 10 DMH beds; the five-bed difference is documented and none of these figures is live vacancy.. Waitlist/availability: Referral and matching through the applicable community partner or County mental-health program; call CMC for current program information. Meals: Resident meals; day-center offerings may include a light breakfast and sack lunches. Showers: Resident shower facilities. Case management: Individual case manager and tailored case plan addressing health, recovery, legal, education, employment, benefits and other needs. Housing navigation: Permanent-housing search and placement. Medical services: Healthcare linkages and coordination through community partners. Mental-health services: Mental-health and substance-use treatment linkages; ongoing coordination with the assigned mental-health program for DMH-funded residents. Transportation: Day-center transportation resources may include bus tokens and vouchers. Donations: Current shelter needs include new men’s clothing and shoes, hygiene-kit supplies, breakfast food and nonperishable alumni-pantry items; coordinate through CMC. Volunteering: Hot-meal service, senior bingo, alumni pantry, hygiene kits, breakfast-food support and other roles are coordinated through CMC.
