24-hour congregate emergency shelter. Serves Adults experiencing homelessness. Gender/access: All genders. Age: Age 18 and older. Household eligibility: Individuals. Intake: Coordinated Entry referral required, then call The Gathering Inn. Eligibility: Adults age 18 or older experiencing homelessness who can prove Placer County residency. Documents: Proof of Placer County residency through benefits, Placer County-address identification, recent utility bill, or assigned Placer County probation or parole. Pets: Contact program. Service animals: Service animals accommodated. Waitlist/availability: Placed on waitlist and contacted when a bed becomes available. Meals: Meals prepared by community partners. Case management: Individualized case management. Housing navigation: Resource navigation and sustainable-housing support. Mental-health services: Trauma-informed individual and group therapy, mindfulness and art therapy. Donations: Donations accepted Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 AM-3:00 PM at the Auburn shelter; large donations require approval. Volunteering: Meal and volunteer opportunities published.
