Intake: Hospital or healthcare referral; operator states it can assess acceptance within the first five minutes of a call and pick up patients 24 hours daily. Eligibility: Experiencing homelessness and medically appropriate for recuperative care after hospital discharge. Documents: Clinical referral information required; use official referral process. Accessibility: Current national directory includes people using mobility devices. Published capacity: 70 beds in the current national medical-respite directory; HUD 2024 recorded 55 adult-only beds. Waitlist/availability: Call the 24-hour hotline for current bed availability. Meals: Nutritious meals included. Case management: Benefits assistance, counseling, life skills, resume and job-search support. Housing navigation: Housing placement and permanent-housing linkage. Medical services: Nurse coverage seven days weekly and 24/7 support staff. Mental-health services: Group and individual therapy offered daily.
