24-hour emergency homeless shelter. Serves Men, women, and children accompanied by a parent who are experiencing homelessness or critical need. Gender/access: All genders. Age: Children must be accompanied by a parent; other age rules not published. Household eligibility: Families with children accompanied by a parent may stay. Intake: Call ahead to confirm bed availability; documented referral required following release from jail, hospital, or rehabilitation. Eligibility: People in verified critical need; parolees and registered sex offenders cannot be accepted. Documents: Documented referral required after jail, hospital, or rehabilitation release; other documents not published. Waitlist/availability: Call ahead for current bed availability. Meals: Lunch for the public Monday-Friday 11:30 AM-noon; shelter has kitchen and dining facilities. Case management: Resident work program and resource assistance. Housing navigation: Furniture and household support for residents moving into housing. Medical services: Uninsured residents may be referred to Great River Charitable Clinic; limited prescription and copay assistance. Transportation: Limited transportation aid for stranded motorists and verified out-of-town medical appointments when Medicaid transportation is unavailable. Donations: Financial, canned-food, heaters, fans, hygiene, undergarment, gift-card, and other donations accepted. Volunteering: Volunteer-supported operation; contact operator for current roles.
